Bumboats

Bumboats

January 6, 2014

Moving along Singapore River after this shot was taken, I reached where the river ferries (or bumboats as they are fondly called by locals) are moored.

These charming river ferries play an important role in Singapore’s tourism industry, offering river cruises and ferrying people between Marina Bay and Clark Quay along the quaint Singapore River, which once was sailed by magnificent Chinese junks.

Make sure to hop on one for an unforgettable experience if you’re at Clarke Quay.
