The thing with Cape Reinga is that, besides of having no mobile coverage for at least a 100km, it is littered with meadows such as this. As is North Island. This view is just about 10 minutes south along Cape Reinga Road. I am pretty sure Peter Jackson had a difficult time in picking out a spot for The Shire (photos coming in the next few weeks!)
